Have Fun LLC

WordWidget does not send your personal information or usage data to Have Fun LLC. This page explains how the app works with data.

There is no account

Nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into, and no email address requested. The app has no notion of who you are.

What is stored, and where

WordWidget stores the following information on your device:

  • your translation language preference;
  • the level you chose;
  • how far you have moved through the words;
  • whether you completed the first-launch screens; and
  • whether a subscription is currently active.

Your translation language preference and selected level are also mirrored to your own iCloud account through Apple's key-value storage so they can follow you to a new device. Have Fun LLC cannot read that copy and holds no identifier that could be used to find it.

What the app does not do

  • No analytics SDK or custom usage analytics.
  • No advertising or tracking across apps or websites.
  • No third-party SDKs.
  • No sharing of personal information with third parties.
  • No server operated by Have Fun LLC.
  • Reading a word sends nothing anywhere.
  • Pronunciation uses the speech synthesizer built into iOS. Nothing is recorded, and nothing leaves your device.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple. Have Fun LLC does not receive or store your payment card details.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Have Fun LLC does not retain personal information because WordWidget does not send it to us. Deleting WordWidget removes the app and its locally stored information from your device. The two preferences mirrored through iCloud are controlled through your Apple Account and iCloud settings; Have Fun LLC cannot access or delete that copy.

Because WordWidget has no account and Have Fun LLC holds no personal information about you, there is no account deletion or consent-revocation request for us to process. If you have a privacy question, you can still contact us at the address below.

Children

WordWidget collects no personal information from anyone, at any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revision date at the top of this page will change as well.
